Wellington Country Park Camping and Caravanning Site on A33 near Riseley, between Reading and Basingstoke, offers you the beauty and tranquillity of a woodland, with open parkland, lakes and nature trails to explore as well as ‘Free’ access to the Country Park during your stay.

The pitches are attractively situated in woodland glades within the Country Park. Facilities are for touring caravans, motor caravans up to 26ft and tents. 6amp electricity is supplied on caravan and motor caravan pitches as well as on some tent pitches. Regular tent pitches do not have electricity. Normal facilities are provided on the campsite including free showers, a laundry with washer and tumble drier and wash up area.

The Campsite provides an ideal base and touring site for local areas such as Winchester, Salisbury, Windsor and Oxford. Other attractions close by include Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington all within 45 mins drive.

For the adults, Ascot and Kempton Race Courses, as well as the superb shopping facilities in Reading’s Oracle Centre and Basingstoke’s Festival Place all provide alternative entertainment.

Included in your stay is free entry to the Country Park. Set in 350 acres of beautiful parklands surrounding a 35 acre lake, there are numerous activities to keep the kids happy. Adventure play areas, toddler’s area, sand pits, adventure trails, slides, miniature railway (£1 extra), 9 holes of crazy golf, animal farm (seasonal) and nature trail maze, plus an assortment of play equipment to climb, in, on and through, all ensure a fun filled day for all!

There are four nature trails to follow, taking in all the sights and sounds of our vast array of wildlife in their natural habitat, including one which allows you the closest contact with our Red Deer herd.

Numerous areas around our lake offer the perfect location for a family gathering and picnic area or if you want to just relax, our cafe and shop offer a full range of refreshments and goods to chose from.

Dog are welcome (on a lead), free parking, easy access from both the M3 and M4 motorways, Wellington Park really does offer it all, so come join in the fun!!
