Warcombe offers a beautiful well maintained park with panoramic views of the sea and surrounding Devon countryside.
Only 1 1/2 miles from the golden sands of Woolacombe beach and close to the Exmoor National Park, we are ideally situated as a base to explore the beauty of North Devon.
Our immaculate 5 star facilities provide underfloor heated amenity blocks including family rooms, facilities for the disabled, and baby changing area. Our staff strive to keep everything spotless and will welcome you and help you to get the very best from your stay.
We offer a huge variety of pitches from grassy standard pitches to our new Premier pitches which offer a huge area for camping, fully serviced and with BBQ stand and picnic bench. We will talk you through the options and help you choose which would suit you best. Relax in beautiful surroundings, enjoy the western sunsets and enjoy the peace and beauty of our park.
Our fishing lake provides a central focal point and is teeming with wildlife, attracting many lovely birds including Buzzards, waterfowl and even kingfishers from time to time! The lake is well stocked with Carp, Rudd, Roach and Tench and offers great sport for the fishermen among you.
Our young woodland provides space for ball games and fun. Meander through the tress and access the coastal paths leading to Lee Bay and Bull Point lighthouse. Children will love the play area with swings and the ‘flying fox’. We are proud to have won a David Bellamy Gold Award recognising our efforts to promote wildlife habitats.
Our local villages of Woolacombe and Mortehoe have shops and pubs offering great food and real ales. Try out the excellent local produce and enjoy a clotted cream tea as you take in spectacular views. Woolacombe Bay has the perfect family beach with ‘Blue Flag' status. Great for surfing too – you can hire equipment and even have surfing lessons. Mortehoe is a great place for walkers, with many footpaths around Morte Point. Visit Mortehoe Museum to read about the history of the village and see the lovely crafts made by the local villagers.
There are National Trust properties to visit nearby – for example Arlington Court, an excellent property with wonderful grounds surrounding an interesting historical home.
Travel a little further to visit some great attractions to suit all tastes. The Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Exmoor Zoo and the Big Sheep are perfect for families. The Milky Way Park is a great all weather attraction. Visit the famous village of Clovelly, or explore the National Park – the valley of the rocks, Heddon’s Mouth and Hunters Inn are quiet unspoilt places. Ilfracombe harbour is fun to vist – watch the boats, take a trip or enjoy the shops.
