The Trotting Mare Caravan Park is an adults only caravan park, open all year round, situated between the historic village of Overton-on-Dee (near Wrexham), and the Lakelands of Ellesmere in Shropshire. The grounds are uniquely located on the border joining North Wales and Shropshire in England upon the A528.

The park lies in over four acres of idyllic, rural countryside. It is set back from the on-site Bistro Pub. The site is relatively small and peaceful, with a number of grass pitches and hard standing all available with an electric hook-up.

The site is fully equipped with showers, toilet facilities and wash basins for males and females, in fully tiled and centrally heated blocks. In consideration to the environment, we have waste disposal units to try to ensure that as much waste as possible is recycled. There are two large ponds on the site which you are welcome to fish in, but we do ask guests to return their catches!

The site provides you with the perfect base for exploring and relaxing within the Welsh and Shropshire countryside.
