The Quiet Site has been welcoming visitors to Cumbria for 50 years. Our award winning park is set amongst the fells surrounding the Ullswater
Valley. We are situated in an idyllic setting and yet we are only 15 minutes from the M6.

The Quiet Site is surrounded by some of the best fellwalking in the country. Access points for Helvellyn, Blencathra, Skiddaw, High Street and Aira Force are all less than 20 minutes drive away.

The combination of great fellwalking and numerous interesting and unique local attractions all set amongst stunning scenery makes this a perfect area for a stimulating holiday for all ages.

We welcome Touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Tents and we have a variety of pitches with and without hook-up facilities - hard and soft standing.

SELF-CATERING COTTAGES
Two interesting and unique cottages, situated adjacent to The Quiet Site, are available for rental. The cottages, which date from the 16th Century, have been converted in such a way that they can be let individually or as a single unit.

Each cottage has its own stone terrace with garden furniture and barbeque. The two properties also have exclusive use of a grassy area with sunken trampoline, playhouse and garden toys. Off-road parking is available for two cars at each cottage.

CARAVAN STORAGE
The Lakes Caravan Storage in Penrith operates a year round storage facility and siting service.

Leave your caravan in our capable hands. Finding somewhere to keep your unit when you are not using it can be a challenge - so why not leave the problem with us? We provide an ideal storage solution which includes a towing service to The Quiet Site so your unit is ready and waiting for you when you arrive at the site.

Storage costs from £40 per 4 weeks depending on size of caravan. This includes delivery to and from The Quiet Site.

Bookings for The Quiet Site are made and paid for in the usual way. Caravans are sited ready for your visit and returned to storage after use.

Caravans can also be picked up independently and used on other sites. The store is 5 minutes from M6 J40, off the A66.

The storage facility is CaSSOA registered, which is approved by insurance companies and often earns a discount against your premium.

Caravan servicing can be arranged with Richard Boulton Caravan Services.

Caravan Storage is Year Round. The Quiet Site is open all year round.
