The Glade country park sits in a beautiful landscaped location, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Lunesdale Valley. It is situated close to the peaceful village of Capernwray, just a few miles from Carnforth.

The Glade is a private family-run park with full services to each Holiday Home pitch and is graded 4 ticks under the British Graded Holiday Park scheme. It is also North-West Tourist Board approved and Caravan Club listed.

Touring caravan and motorhome pitches are sited to blend harmoniously into a carefully landscaped setting separate from the luxury holiday lodges.

The park has a public telephone and there are electric hook-ups throughout. The children’s play area is carefully sited for safety and enjoyment.

All our holiday lodges are sited to blend harmoniously into the carefully landscaped setting and are tastefully arranged around a central landscaped area separate from the tourer pitches.

All lodges are fitted to exceptional standards, not only in such necessities as kitchen equipment and bathroom fixtures, but in the whole way the interiors are planned, colour schemed and co-ordinated.

Double glazed windows and in some lodges, central heating, ensure that owners can make maximum use of their holiday homes whatever the season.

DIRECTIONS
From M6 exit at junction 35 follow the B6254 towards Kirkby Lonsdale. Follow the road through Over Kellet, go past the Redwell Inn and within half a mile take the left turn to Capernwray.
The Glades Country Park is within one mile on the left hand side to the rear of Capernwray House. You may see Llamas in the field by the entrance.
