Tavey View is a beautifully situated family run South Devon campsite situated on the southern shores of the River Tavey in the South Hams in Devon, with direct access to the river.

Perfectly positioned at the foot of Dartmoor National Park, it is an ideal base for mountain biking, walking, sailing, fishing, and pony trekking or simply relaxing.

The pretty village of Tamerton Foliot is one mile from the campsite and can be easily reached by road or foot.

Here you will find local shops and post office as well as a few inns serving excellent bar food and traditional real ales.

Plymouth city centre is 5 miles along with the ferry terminal to France and Spain making a easy base for you before or after a continental holiday.

Tavey View provides excellent facilities and a peaceful park in which to relax and enjoy your holiday in the midst of the Devon Scenery.

Electric hook up pitches are available on grass to accommodate touring caravans, tents of all shapes and sizes and motor homes. These can be booked in advanced. Car Parking is next to your pitch. There are also drinking water taps placed conveniently around the site. We also have basic pitches with no hook ups if you want to be self sufficient, most pitches have fantastic views over the water.
