We offer a welcome to all those seeking a quiet place for their caravan, motorhome or tent, which is off the beaten track. The site affords peace and tranquillity, with the added bonus of superb panoramic views and level pitches. It is ideal for a prolonged holiday, or a one night stop over.

The park is situated within Cranborne Chase, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), about six miles SSW of the medieval city of Salisbury, on the edge of the village of Coombe Bissett. It is set high on the 135m contour line, facing south, in the midst of the rolling Wiltshire chalk downs, which are intersected by many paths and bridleways.

Summerlands Caravan Park was originally a certified location for 5 caravans and was developed into the current site (20 pitches plus a further 5 for tents) in 1995. It retains the ambience of the original "little friendly site". Alan and Barbara Ely acquired the site at end of December 2009 and opened as usual on the 1st April 2010. It is a family run site, with 3 generations assisting in maintaining and improving the facilities.

DIRECTIONS:
From Salisbury: On the A354 leaving Coombe Bissett church on your left, look out in 1.5 miles for Summerlands Caravan Park sign. Fork left at signpost for Rockbourne and the "Roman Villa". After 300 meters turn left at Summerlands Caravan Park/College Farm sign. We are ¾ mile down the track, follow the brown and white caravan signs.

From Blandford: On the A354 after leaving Coombe Hill Garage on your right, look out in ½ mile for Summerlands Caravan Park sign to sharp right at the sign and take the next right turn, signposted Rockbourne and "Roman Villa" (take care bend on steep hill), after 300 meters turn left at Summerlands Caravan Park/College Farm sign. We are ¾ mile down the track, follow the brown and white caravan signs.
