Sherbrooke is a District Site belonging to Central Notts. Scout Association. It comprises of approximately 25 acres of undulating open grassland.

The campsite is situated just off the B6386 to the A614 due north of Calverton Village, Nottinghamshire. Adjoining the Campsite is a 5-Acre Wood, which can be used for a variety of activities such as Walking, Tracking, Wide Games, Bird Watching and Nature Studies.

We have camping areas that cater for Patrol, Troop, Group and District events with plenty of space for activities. If you have visited Sherbrooke before and have a favourite camping area, this can be reserved on a first come first serve basis.

We have accommodation consisting of:

FERNWOOD LODGE: This is a cabin building with 2 bedrooms, one room has 3 bunk beds sleeping, and the other room has 2 bunk beds sleeping. It has a fully fitted kitchen that has a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and also sink with hot water supply. There is a separate dinning/living area with a TV and a video player. There are two tables in this room with benches/chairs.

THE CENTRE: This has two rooms, a large hall that can be used as a Dining, Activity or Sleeping area, and a smaller room in which there is a folding Table Tennis Table. This room is also suitable for sleeping or as a Leader’s room. There are two bedrooms with bunk beds; one room sleeps 8 people, the other sleeps 6. There is a toilet in the centre itself that has access for the disabled. There is a large kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils,pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. There is also a large fridge/freezer in the kitchen.

CARAVAN: The caravan is a basic van that will sleep about 6 people. There is a gas cooker, microwave oven, sink with cold water supply. And a small dinning area There is also a TV.
