Salcombe Regis Camping and Caravan Park is situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Salcombe Regis, 1½ miles east of Sidmouth and less than a mile from the sea.
Beautiful views of the combe with the sea beyond can be seen from our camping field and in a pleasant 25 minute walk across fields, the spectacular Devon coastline with its unspoilt beaches, can be reached.
Covering 16 acres and surrounded by farmland, the park offers unrivalled space and tranquility - plenty of room to park next to your caravan or tent and for children to play.
Touring caravans, motor homes and tents are accommodated on well-drained sites either overlooking the sea or with open views across the park and surrounding fields. In addition we have electric hook-up facilities.
We also have luxury holiday homes and one cottage for hire.
The Park is ideal if you just want to relax and for the more energetic, the long distance coastal footpath is on our doorstep. You’re spoilt for choice with things to do.
• Close by is Sidmouth, our historic Regency town filled with charm and quality local shops. Families love the rock pools and exploring the beach.
• The world renowned Sidmouth Folk Festival takes place in August.
• Visit the quaint fishing village of Beer. Take breakfast at one of the beach cafes. Or visit Pecorama, close by a superbly crafted model railway display.
• The Donkey Sanctuary, just a short distance away with its restaurant, walks, gardens, and nature centre, not to mention the hundreds of donkeys being cared for. It appeals to young and old alike.
• Perhaps a little pony trekking at Farway Riding Stables with Budleigh Riding Stables
• Explore Devon’s Axe Valley and 2 nature reserves using the Seaton Tramway.
• Crealy is Devon’s great family adventure park, with fast rides, farm animals, boating and lots more.
• Bicton Park Botanical Gardens provide all year round enjoyment for everyone of all ages including historic glasshouses, a countryside museum, the Bicton Woodland Railway train ride, nature trail, maze, mini golf, indoor and outdoor children’s play complexes, ice-free skating, restaurant and shop.
With so much to see and do in the area Salcombe Regis is going to be a memorable holiday.
DIRECTIONS: The Park is well signposted on the Exeter - Lyme Regis road, (A3052), from both directions. Do not take your caravan into Sidmouth itself. If coming from the east on the A3052, take the first turning left after the Donkey Sanctuary. If after arriving from the west on the A3052, proceed up the hill out of Sidford. Do not take the first road sign-posted to Salcombe Regis, but take the next right at the top of the hill. Follow the road around and you will find us on the left hand side just past the Golf Range.
