Pindale Farm Outdoor Centre is the the ideal base for all outdoor activities in the Peak Distict including:

* WALKING * HORSE RIDING * CLIMBING * FISHING * CAVING
* MOUNTAIN BIKING * HANG GLIDING * FIELD STUDIES

Some outdoor pursuits equipment is availiable for hire - please enquire when booking. Expert advice can be given on local attactions, weather
conditions etc. Local instruction is availiable if required.

Pets are welcome if kept under proper control.

We have:
* a climbing wall and bolt routes, up two sides of the chimney and traversing around the end of the Engine House - using 130ft rope.
* the abseil platform, for instruction in controlled condition before venturing on to the hills.

We can also do your shopping - prices on application.

The centre offers the following accommodation:
Camping, Bunkhouse, Power House and B & B all reasonably priced.

CAMPING
Pindale Farm offers camping from March to October for the general public in the field to the south west of the Farm House.

The field is flat and has taps and a drain as well as lights at night. There are two 6 amp electric hook ups for those requiring some home comforts Situated in the centre are the toilet and shower blocks with hot water for the campsite.

BUNKHOUSE - BARN ROOMS
The barn was converted into a Bunkhouse to accommodate 52 people!

Rooms 1, 2, 4 and 5 sleep 8 to 10 people. Rooms 3 and 6 sleep 10 to 12 people.

Based on the alpine refuges and climbing and caving club hostels each of the six rooms has an Alpine Bunk where you sleep side by side.

Each room is self contained and provides a shower, toilet and wash basin, kitchen with cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster as well as pots and pans etc and a small colour television, all in an open plan room.

BUNKHOUSE - THE ENGINE ROOM
The old Engine House has been converted into a Bunkhouse to accommodate 8 people.

Based on the alpine refuges and climbing and caving club hostels the Engine House has an Alpine Bunk where you sleep side by side.

The Engine House is is self contained and provides a shower, toilet and wash basin, kitchen with cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster as well as pots and pans etc and a small colour television, on two levels.

THE POWDER HOUSE
The old Powder House was made to accommodate 4 people when the centre was renovated in 1988.

The accommodation comprises of a four person bunk, small electric cooker, storage heater and light.

People using the Power House need to use the same water, toilet and shower facilities as
the campers.

FARM HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST
The farm House pre dates 1340 when the local Eyre family brought the farm from the Hassop estate.

We have two double bedded rooms in the house with on suite bathrooms for B & B.
