Piccadilly Caravan Park is a small family-run site in open countryside close to the National Trust village of Lacock.
Lacock Abbey was once the home of Henry Fox-Talbot, pioneer of photography, and there is now a museum in the village. A bus service runs from Lacock village to Chippenham (entry to the Chippenham museum and Heritage centre is free of charge) The park itself is close to several attractions in northern Wessex, notably Longleat, Bath, Salisbury Plain and Stourhead.
We welcome Touring Caravans, Motor Homes and Tents. Rallies are also welcome.
The level site has part hard standing and part grass pitches and is landscaped with trees and shrub beds. There is a small play area and also an area for ball games. There is also a dog walk in an adjoining field.
The site offers a total of 42 pitches, with 38 of these for use of both caravans and tents and 4 pitches for just tents. The parks facilities include electric hook ups, gas bottle exchange, shower facilities, a public telephone, a laundrette and a children’s play area.
This countryside park provides the perfect place for those who want to sit back and relax, but for those who want some adventure, nearby Chippenham and Bristol provide a range of activities, eating places, pubs, restaurants and shops.
We are open from 01 April to 31st October.
