The campsite has stunning views of the Eskdale fells and beyond, we are a few minutes drive to Wasdale and Wastwater which was voted best view in the British Isles.

The area has plenty for all ages, wonderful walks right from the farm, an abundance of wildlife to view, the La'al ratty narrow guage railway has a station only half a mile away and the magestic Muncaster Castle and Owlery is within walking distance.

We have 4 static caravans to let, with excellent views over our fields and up the valley. The caravans are well kitted out with most mod cons, but if there is anything you can't find we probably have one at the farm. The caravans have a shower and gas fire for heating. Each van can sleep up to 6 people, one double, one twin and the lounge area will sleep two. We can supply bedding and sheets but please let us know well in advance if you require any.

The camping field at Parkgate Farm has one of the best outlooks in the Lake District, it is a fairly level site suitable for camping and caravans.
