Palace Farm Campsite is a small (tents only) 25 pitch family run campsite in the village of Doddington in the heart of the Kent Downs. It is situated in an Area of Natural Beauty - an area famous for it's scenery, wildlife, walking, cycling and history.

The village boasts a Butchers Shop with deli counter, a Garage with convenience store and a great Pub.

The campsite has a modern environmentally friendly toilet and shower block, all lighting is low energy and lights in toilets and showers are switched on by PIR sensor and automatically turn off when all movement has stopped for several minutes so we don't waste any electricity. The lights on the outside of the block are switched on and off by a light sensitive switch, the total consumption is just 160 watts, that is six and a quarter hours per unit of electricity.

PRE-PITCHED TENTS FOR HIRE
This year we have some pre-pitched tents, very similar to Tipis for hire. These will have a good ground sheet, a couple of mattresses for Mum and Dad and some sleeping mats for the kids, bring your own sleeping bags. Outside the tent there will be a fire hearth.

HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION
We also offer Hostel style Bed and Breakfast in six private rooms each with their own shower and toilet
Rooms are clean and spacious.
All guests have full use of the kitchen facilities and lounge/dining room.
A light continental breakfast is included in the price.
