The site overlooks the famous links golf course with views of the glorious Atlantic, Islay and Jura. We boast 3 miles of golden sands well known to surfers, canoeists, birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. Wild goats, seals and otters abound and we have a wonderful seabird observatory nearby. Golden Eagles nest around and about Kintyre and the whole area is a haven for Peregrines, Buzzards, Sparrowhawks and a rich variety of other birds.

On site there is a small shop, laundry, disabled facilities, free showers and - CAMPERS ROOM providing microwave, kettle, fridge and freezer for those ice-packs as well as local tourist information and a small library for your help and enjoyment.

...BIGWIG, the larger of the two types of Wigwam is
fitted with robust wooden sleeping platforms and
sky-lights, incorporating an opening window and lockable door. It is an ideal family size, providing comfortable holiday accommodation on soft foam mattresses for up to five people.

The central platform is easily dismantled, giving a spacious, light and versatile interior for daytime use. The unit is fitted with a microwave and kettle, crockery and cutlery are provided. There is also a wee fridge to keep your drinks cool! You won't get cold - the Wigwam is fitted with a panel heater and there is also electric lighting.

WEEWAM, the smaller of the two Wigwams is fitted with a raised timber sleeping platform and storage space, incorporating an opening window and lockable door. It is an ideal size for up to 3 persons.
