At Low Glengyre Farm we have one static caravan available for holiday lets all-year-round. The caravan is situated just next to a glen, away from the main farm steading and close to a farm cottage. It is reached via a farm lane from the main road.

Only 7 miles from the nearby town of Stranraer it is a holiday in the Country with all the conveniences of being close to the town.

At Low Glengyre Farm, we are quite self-sufficient and you are welcome to purchase truly free-range eggs and home-grown vegetables/herbs when in season. A wide variety is usually available, at present - early potatoes, parsley, chives, swedes & even apple sauce for your pork dinners!

The caravan is a Cosalt Retreat 6 berth caravan fully equipped with everything you could need to make it a home away from home. To aide your hassle-free holiday, bed linen and towels are included in the price. And for the parents - a travel cot and highchair are available on request with no extra charge! Worried about the electricity and gas charge - don't be, it's included in the price too. Not only that, pets are welcome too.

Ever dreamed of truly enjoying the countryside - take the opportunity to feed our free-range hens, lift the eggs, try feeding the calves and explore the untouched glen located on your doorstep. The children are welcome to use the children's slide and swings or play in the play house located in the garden next to the caravan. And while the kids are occupied, why not relax on the swing seat in the Garden.

For your comfort during the cooler months electric heaters are provided for the bedrooms so you can still enjoy a cheap break in the off-peak season!

A DVD player, video recorder & Freeview is available in the caravan for entertainment purposes. We also have a range of videos, dvds, books and a pack of cards for those relaxing evenings.

For a small charge a gas barbeque is available for those lovely summer evenings. Also, washing & drying can be done on request. An iron and ironing mat are provided in the caravan.

We are constantly improving the facilities at the caravan and our latest improvement is a fence surrounding the caravan as well as a fenced parking area. This means that if you do bring your pets on holiday, they can run around outside without wandering away!

DIRECTIONS
Follow the A718 out of Stranraer heading for Leswalt/Kirkcolm. At the roundabout, go straight ahead (for Leswalt). In the village, turn right past the school (Ervie Road - B798). Low Glengyre is located approximately 2.25 miles along this road on the left hand side.
