Llawrbetws Caravan Park is a quiet peaceful family run site in the heart of North Wales, bordering the Snowdonia National Park.
We are situated on the A494 Corwen to Bala road. The park offers an excellent base to explore north and mid Wales and its attractions.
Relax, take in the scenery and enjoy the beautiful mountains and many other tourist attractions nearby.
The site is open from 1st March – 31st October.
There are 70 static caravans on the park with enclosed fencing; ideal for those with pets or for those who want the privacy of a garden.
There is a playroom with a snooker table and table tennis. There is also a well-appointed play area in the camping field.
The static vans are connected to mains electric and drainage. Calor gas, camping gas and caravan spares are available from site owner.
The camping field has 25 electrical hook-ups and opens from Easter – 31st October. Dormobiles that need to be on level ground can park opposite the farmhouse.
There is a laundrette on site.
Dogs and pets are welcome if kept under proper control on a lead.
There is a well-stocked licensed shop and café, a ten minute walk away at the garage in the nearby village of Glanrafon. Also situated nearby is the Glassblobbery Studio and Gallery where you can watch glass ornaments being made and purchase a variety of gifts and crafts.
Seven miles away lies the town of Bala, with its wealth of outdoor activities. Visitors come to experience white water sailing, canoeing and windsurfing. Bala leisure centre offers many facilities including swimming and water slides. Corwen also has a leisure centre with swimming pool, squash courts and well equipped gym. A bowling green and tennis court are also available to visitors.
