Surrounded by many reminders of Guernseys rich history, Le Vaugrat Campsite has for many years provided hundreds of returning visitors with all those amenities that make a comfortable and memorable holiday.

Outbuildings have been thoughtfully converted into a shop, T.V. room, take-away food service area and Coffee Barn. 10 amp electric points are also available.

The site is flat and well drained and serviced by all the convenience of home - toilets, showers, washing, drying and ironing facilities - and plenty of safe space for children's play.

TENTS FOR HIRE:
Several fully-equipped tents, each sleeping up to 6 persons are available for hire, (minimum 2 persons per tent).

Each tent is ready for occupation. All you have to do is bring your own bedding and towels.

Sleeping bags and pillows can be hired for an extra charge - this facility only being available with our Hire Tents.

The farmhouse is home to the Lainé family, who for many years have carefully and caringly managed their family camping business.

Just 5 minutes walk from the campsite are the safe and sandy bays of Port Grat and Grande Havre. A short drive away are the golf-course, horse riding stables and Leisure Centre.

Fully Equipped Tent Tariffs - 2012

• Adults: £23.65 per person per night
• Children (under 14 years): £19.45 per person per night
• Children (under 3 years): Free

Please note that for fully equiped tent bookings of 1 or 2 nights duration only, charges will be levied at the rate of £26.00 per adult per night and £21.00 per child per night.

Miscellaneous Charges
• Electricity (10 amps): £6.00 per night

DIRECTIONS
From the Harbour, turn right at the roundabout heading north. After two miles (the Halfway), bear left before the filter in turn. Turn left at the traffic lights towards L'Islet, passing Oatlands Craft Centre on the right. Head straight at the traffic lights, through L'Islet to the coast. The campsite can be seen along the coast road from the Peninsular Hotel. Turn left into La Route de Vaugrat.
