Set amongst delightful mature grounds in a sheltered wooded valley on the favoured south-west edge of Dartmoor, Langstone Manor offers the perfect escape for those seeking to explore and enjoy the wide range of interests and activities the adjacent moorland has to offer.

We offer a range of self catering holiday accommodation from a newly refurbished manor house apartment, holiday homes with full facilities to spacious, well-appointed cottages. Level, well-drained pitches are available for camping with toilet, shower and laundry facilities all close to hand. The Langstone Bar with a woodburning stove, terrace, games room and evening meals is perfect to relax and unwind at the end of the day. No loud music, no traffic noise, stunning starry skies, peace and quiet and of course, a friendly atmosphere.

We are well placed for exploring Dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall, with Dartmoor as the back garden and the exciting and vibrant market town of Tavistock (with swimming pool, waterslides and cinema) just down the road. Then there is the beautiful south Devon coast a car ride away, with spectacular coastal walks and cosy fishing harbours nestled in amongst sandy beaches and rock pools.

Our various facilities cater for long or short breaks to suit all tastes and budgets.

CAMPING AND CARAVANNING
We have 42 pitches, 19 with hookup divided into separate areas. New for 2008 is the sunny Daffodil field with terraced pitches offering wonderful views across the moors. The walled garden is sheltered with views. For seclusion, there are pitches set amongst the trees.

Groups are welcome (depending on size and time of year). There are areas ideal for groups, and as we are on the moor it is an ideal base for Ten Tors training or the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

The facilities on site are kept clean and tidy and include a laundry and portable toilet liquid disposal site. The showers (which are hot and powerful!) use 20p tokens available at reception.

Our reception supplies basic needs including gas and bio-degradable portable toilet liquid. We also have freshly baked baguettes, rolls, croissants available to order!

The Manor house which has a non-smoking policy throughout, has a lounge bar, dining room and games room available for your use. Tavistock is only a short drive away with a wide selection of shops.

For our young visitors, we have a playground surrounded by grass and picnic benches. Please note that bikes cannot be ridden on the park, there are plenty of quiet lanes and cycleways nearby.

Dogs are welcome at no extra cost, BUT they must be kept on a lead at ALL times whilst on the park.
