We have a small family run campsite in a village which is mainly stone built with some thatched cottages. It is situated in a beautiful conservation area in Dorset. The Pub is nearby.
We accept tents, caravans, mobile homes, camper vans, dive boats and other small boats. All pitches are on grass and either unserviced or semi-serviced with electric hook-up.
FACILITIES INCLUDE:
Toilets, Showers, Wash Basins, Hair Dryers, Washing-up Sinks, Bottle Gas Exchange, Chemical Disposal Point and Parking by your pitch.
PLACES TO EXPLORE:
This is a good area for touring and walking with scenic views everywhere. We are one-mile from West Bexington with the Chesil Beach, South/West Coast Path and shoreline fishing. West Bay has a harbour with RIB Cruises, water-skiing, crab fishing and a tackle shop. There is also a golf course locally.
This is a UNESCO World Heritate Coast and the Jurassic Coast extends from West Bay to Lyme Regis then on into Devon, which is just over the county border.
There is fossil hunting from Charmouth Beach, Lyme Regis has its famous Cobb and Harbour and sandy beach.
Weymouth has a long sandy beach, Punch & Judy, sand sculptures, donkey rides, a RSPB reserve, Sea Life Centre, theatre and lots more.
Dorchester is an old Roman town and has an excellent museum with many Roman artefacts. It also has Maiden Castle, an Iron Age fort and the Old Crown Court and Cells.
Burton Bradstock with its cliffs and well know Café is nearby.
Tolpuddle houses the Tolpuddle Martyrs Village and Museum - the first ever Trade Unionists.
Places within a day trip journey are Swanage with its nice beach and Steam Railway to Corfe Castle. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Dor are on the Purbeck Peninsula and also worth a visit.
Portland Bill attracts migrating birds and is the sailing venue for the 2012 Olympics.
The Fleet Lagoon has birds, fish, plants and a glass bottom boat venture to experience.
Dorset has lots of large old houses, castles and gardens to visit.

From Dorchester on A35 towards Bridport, turn left at start of dual carriageway, at bottom of hill turn right to Litton Cheney. Through village, second left onto Hazel Lane to Puncknowle. Left at T-Junction, left at phone box. Site is 150 metres on right.
ROUTE FOR CARAVANS
Drive from Dorchester, along A35 to Bridport. At first roundabout turn left down Sea Road South at second roaundabout turn left to Burton Bradstock, take B3157 to Swyre. Drive through Swyre then to Puncknowle.
