Hillend Camping & Caravan Park is located on the Gower peninsula, Britain’s first designated area of outstanding natural beauty, which extends 20km westwards from the City of Swansea. The peninsula is an ageless delight, with its landscape of cosy villages, farms, castle ruins and common land, bounded by 40km of incredible coastline and world renowned beaches.

Situated on the western edge of the peninsula, you will find the most breathtaking of all Gower’s beaches, Rhossili Bay. From Worm’s head in the south, to the tidal islet of Burry Holmes to the north, the 3 mile sweep of golden sands is a constant reminder of the splendour of Gower.

CAMPING PARK
The campsite consists of 4 fields totalling 14 acres of level meadow which can accommodate up to 300 tents and motor homes. Two of the fields are for families and couples only, and all are within 200m of the magnificent Rhossili Bay.

There is vibrant feel to the site and although we are not a ‘families only’ site we are careful as to whom we let onto the park. Well behaved youngsters are welcome, but we generally only accept under 18’s with parental supervision, and groups numbering more than 10 by prior arrangement.

CARAVAN PARK
The 250 caravans and lodges at Hillend are spread over 26 acres of undulating sand dunes and burrows.

Some of the caravans and lodges sit cosily amongst the sand dunes, others nestle beneath the downs and most enjoy spectacular views of the beach and beyond to the coastline of Carmarthen Bay.

Entry level prices for traditional caravans start at around £30k and generally range up to £50k.

The lodges, which are built to residential standards and specifications are much larger twin units which usually measure 40′ by 20′ . These can range in price generally from £130k–£175k

Annual ground rent at 2011 levels is £2,800.

The season is 9 months from the 1st March–30th November
