Hendwr lies at the foot of the Berwyn Mountain range on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, between Corwen and Bala, in the beautiful Dee Valley.

Hendwr is a working family farm accessed via a tree lined driveway. The park is divided by a gently meandering stream which seperates our static and touring pitches. Along side the caravan park we have 4 self catering log cabins. Hendwr provides the perfect place for a quick get away or your weekend retreat.

Hendwr is a walkers paradise with dramatic walks on old drover's roads and in the Berwyn mountains, or maybe you'd prefer to roam the country lanes and stop off for a pub lunch. The stunning, rugged walking of Snowdonia is also on your doorstep.

Mountain biking and horse riding enthusiasts are spoilt for choice. Superb fishing, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and even white water rafting are easily accessible.

The hospitality and variety of scenery, the attractions and activities will make an unforgettable visit to North Wales. So if you have not been before there is a great treat in store. What ever the weather you'll not be stuck for something to do. There is an abundance of space and good facilities within easy reach for all. Why not try hill-walking, riding, canoeing, fishing, sailing or just relaxing...

TOURING CARAVANS AND TENTS
Open from Eater to November our touring pitches enjoy wonderful views of the Dee Valley and the Berwyn Mountains. The 4 acre touring park accommodates touring caravans, tents or motor homes; all with self-trip electric hook up. Visiting pitches are a mix of grass and hardstanding, while the seasonal pitches are all on grass.There is plenty of space and children love to play in the shallow stream which runs though Hendwr. Our tree lined dirveway provides a magical playgroud for everyone to explor.

SCANDINAVIAN LODGES FOR HIRE
If you don't fancy camping then why not stay in one of our four Lodges? Sleeping 5 plus a cot the Lodges are open plan and enjoy the same spectacular views as our touring pitches. Let on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday), or short breaks can be arranged outside school summer holidays.

All Lodges are non-smoking, a well behaved dog is welcome in one of our Lodges by prior arrangement only. All the other Lodges are pet free.

STATIC CARAVANS AND LODGES FOR SALE
We have a range of new and pre-owned holiday homes and twin unit style log cabins for sale all with full services. All holiday homes at Hendwr, near the Snowdonia National Park, are privately owned.

At reception you will find a will stocked shop and information centre. The park offers a laundrette with washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities. Children are able to play safely in a large open grassed area and fish in the shallow trout stream.
