Foxholes Castle Camping is a relaxed, family-run rural campsite on a 28-acre smallholding, surrounded by glorious views of South West Shropshire's beautiful hill country.

It is an ideal location for families, couples, walkers, cyclists and photographers, and is within a few minutes walk of the lively and popular town of Bishop's Castle. It is a friendly and fascinating town offering an interesting variety of shops, a leisure centre and swimming pool, historic buildings and fascinating museums and good places to eat.

The site is conveniently situated on the Shropshire Way, connecting it with Bishop's Castle. Foxholes Castle Camping is also within easy reach of the Offa's Dyke long distance footpath.

Foxholes Castle Camping offers separate areas for touring caravans, motor caravans and tents. These are on soft standing pitches. We also have a newly completed comfortable bunkhouse for walkers and long-distance cyclists which is able to sleep six.

Our modern facilities include a new toilet block, with free solar power heated showers. We use rain water for toilet flushing.

We also have chemical toilet disposal points and a large recycling area which we expect visitors to use.

Sorry, no electric hook-ups at present.

We don't have a site shop at the moment, but we do stock home-grown fruit and vegetables when in season. Provisions are readily available in nearby Bishop's Castle.
