Chy Carne Camping and Touring Park is a small family run holiday park set within the Lizard Peninsular overlooking Kennack Sands.

The park is ideally situated with a sandy beach within a designated area for outstanding natural beauty and of scientific interest and with Goonhilly Downs on our doorstep. Designated a National park this is a great place for bird watching.

We welcome all Touring Caravans, Motor Homes, Tents, Camper Vans, Trailer Tents and Folding Campers of all sizes and shapes. We have a number of areas designated away from our two and three bedroom static caravans. We also welcome well behaved dogs and pets.

Chy Carne is a spacious well kept, clean, safe park with level camping and touring pitches. 90 electric hook ups available, spread over a large area with each pitch a minimum of 8 to 10 metres wide and some up to 14 metres. Many of our pitches have wonderful sea views. We have a further 40 non-electrical pitches most with lovely sea views overlooking Kennack Bay.

Our static caravans are situated as you enter the park and away from our touring area, they are available with either two or three bedrooms. Our chalets have two bedrooms.

Our caravans come fully equipped. Our two bedroom caravans are 28ft x 10ft and sleep a maximum of six people. Our spacious three bedroom caravans are 35ft x 12ft and sleep a maximum of eight people. These caravans have two toilets and come with hot air heating.

We have two modern purpose built shower blocks (16 showers,11 toilets,13 hand basins) And two washing up areas (six sinks) situated in two locations so you are never far away where ever you are camped. We also have a launderette with two 18lbs load washing machines and dryers

On site for the kids we have a large pirate ship and a set of swings, football table, table tennis and two pool tables as well as our indoor arcade, and of course plenty of open grass space for ball games etc

With many other local nearby attractions and beaches and coves, Chy Carne is an ideal base to discover what Cornwall as to offer or just sit back, relax and enjoy a barbecue or even a campfire in one of our chimineas or fire baskets. Or do a spot of star gazing or enjoy a drink or two at our campsite bar situated in our large canvas 125 square metre marquee - which as lighting and seating and a real cosy atmosphere. During the peak season we even throw a band or two on, as well as some children’s entertainers Live acts include Tribute bands and folk music.
