Callow Top is a 4 star family campsite and caravan site situated on the outskirts of Ashbourne in Derbyshire, just 20 minutes drive from Alton Towers.

Our location is the ideal base for exploring the beauty of the Derbyshire & Staffordshire Peak District National Park. There is direct access to the Tissington Trail cycle path from the site and we’re perfectly situated for you to enjoy many walks in the local area.

During peak season we have everything you need on site to cater for a fun-filled family holiday, as well as being close to all the area’s major attractions. You really have the best of both worlds here and if you don’t feel like exploring, you needn’t leave the park if you don’t want to!

During low season, especially during the week, stay with us and enjoy tranquil surroundings, walking, cycling and fishing.

The focal point of the park is the Callow Inn serving pub food and real ale from our very own on-site brewery.

We have many facilities for families including a play area, games field, amusement arcade, cycle hire & on site coarse fishing. Entertainment, including discos, quizzes & bingo, takes place during peak season. Our heated outdoor swimming & paddling pools are open from May – September. Arnold’s Cafe Bar is open during peak season and at weekends. Food & drinks are served throughout the day and takeaway meals and pizzas are available. A WiFi hotspot is available in the Cafe area.

Callow Top has been voted a Practical Caravan Top 100 Park for 2008, 2009 and 2010. We were also awarded East Midlands Holiday Park of the Year 2009 in the Enjoy England Excellence Awards held by the tourist board.
