Burton Hill is a relaxed and friendly campsite offering a perfect riverside location for both long holidays and short breaks. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Wiltshire countryside with only a 10 minute walk along the River Avon to the thriving town of Malmesbury with its shops, restaurants, cafes and facilities.

The campsite field is grassy, level and flat. It has pitches with or without electric hook-up and welcomes caravans, tents and motor homes as well as a small number of contractors.

The shower and toilet block is brand new and includes facilities for family and disabled use. Our new log cabin is available to rent. We also have an area for the storage of touring caravans - please contact us for more details.

We are committed to providing our visitors and residents with an environmentally friendly campsite. It is our aim to provide recycling facilities, to use renewable energy where possible and to encourage a haven for wildlife - in fact to be as energy efficient and ‘green’ as we can.

Activities such as fishing, cycling, walking, golf, the sports centre and swimming pool are all nearby. The oldest borough in England, Malmesbury is a bustling, mediaeval Wiltshire market town with shops, supermarket, pubs and restaurants. Why not visit the 12th century abbey and the famous Abbey House Gardens or further afield, Westonbirt Arboretum, the city of Bath, Cirencester, Gloucester, Stonehenge or Longleat?

CARAVAN STORAGE
We have a secure, locked area in a secluded part of the campsite where caravans and motor homes may be stored.

Access is by contacting the site managers to arrange mutually convenient timing.
Security is enhanced as the managers live here on the site.
