Open weave and Close weave refer to the different properties of the two available types.
*Open weave has larger holes roughly the size you can push a matchstick through. It will let some moisture through in wet conditions
This type of groundsheet is approved by virtually all sites and prefered by most.
** Close weave has much smaller holes and although it allows air to reach the grass it will create some discolouration after a couple of weeks. It tends to let very little moisture through in normal conditions.
