Barnstones Caravan & Camping Park is three miles from Banbury. This small and neat park is open all year and provides an excellent point from which to explore the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon.

There are 49 level pitches of which 44 have gravel hardstanding with a grass area for awnings (no groundsheets are allowed) and 10A electricity; 20 of these are fully serviced.

A further 36 pitches are available on a rally field, all with 10A electricity. Shrubs, flowers and an oval tarmac road convey a tidy impression throughout and the low level lighting is subtle but effective.

The park provides a pleasant environment for couples and young families, but is situated near to the main road, so some traffic noise is to be expected. New arrivals should report to the warden’s caravan at the park entrance.

The church in Great Bourton (250 m.) has a most unusual lych gate and there is a canal-side walk to Banbury (3 miles).

Golf, Fishing, Horse riding and open & indoor swimming pools are within easy reach. The site is listed by the Caravan Club, Caravan & Camping Club, Thames & Chiltern Tourist Board, AA & RAC.
